GHDs have broken, what do I replace them with? Air Wrap? More GHDS? Other?

My trusty GHDs which I think are about 10 years old have finally packed up.

I've been toying with the idea of the Air Wrap for a while - could I buy this and do without GHDs?

Are GHDs still the best?

Or should I be looking for another type of straightener?

Hair is down to my armpits, there's lots of it but it's fine and thus lacks body.

Recommendations please Smile

What’s your budget?

I have GHD platinum and the new Gold styler. The Gold styler is fine & does the job as expected, the Platinum gets your hair a bit smoother and softer but I don’t necessarily think that justifies the extra cost as they are SO similar.

If budget isn’t an issue, I would definitely be tempted by the dyson!

I have cloud 9's after taking ages to decide between them and my GHD's. I personally dont think they are that special As used a cheap pair of Remmington prior which were good.

And have been left wondering whether I should of got GHD's.

Air Wrap oohh off to google

I lost my GHDs, which were still going strong after almost 15 years. Chose to replace them with cloud 9s and I'm really pleased with them, I wouldn't go back to the GHDs

Airwrap is amazing. Best thing I've bought in the past year!

I bought it for the curling barrels but I find that I dont use them much. I use the hair dryer and the brush and my hair looks sleek effortlessly. Game changer and worth every penny.

I am going to sell my big hair and heated wand/straightener soon.

Yes, it sounds crazy but for the usage it's worth it. And I don't go to salons for a blow dry. That's like 10 salon visits except that I can use it every other day.

I love my air wrap. Hands down the best gift I have had in my life.
