In these pictures has Kate done something to thicken her hairline?

My hair line is thinning (no underlying health problem just genetics-thanks mum!) just looking at the latest pictures of Kate and Wills in Cumbria and I wondered if Kate’s hairdresser had done some kind of magical hair-filling in around her hairline and if she has, how has she done it! (Kate’s obviously got beautiful thick hair anyway but I’m wondering if this is a technique that celebs use when they’re being photographed maybe).

I can't imagine having thousands of people poring over pictures of me on an average "day at the office". Leave her be

The fact that thousands of people pore over pictures of her is the whole reason she exists as public figure. If everyone let her be then there would be absolutely no point to the monarchy. And if she didn't like having her pictures in the paper then presumably she'd have married someone else.

Nobody has said anything derogatory about her on this thread so I really can't see any issue.

Notmyideamovingon I haven’t criticised her, I’ve noticed something that will be a huge help to me. This is style and beauty, we come her to discuss.....style and beauty! We share tips and tricks, products we like, outfits in the media we admire etc etc.

ChippyTea16 brilliant thank you, I’ve got brown eyeshadow, I’ll have a play with it.

I wonder if a pale taupe? eyeshadow would work for cool blonde

Billballbaggins · 11/06/2019 20:21

Definitely root spray

Maccapacca88 · 11/06/2019 20:25

Apparently you can get your hairline microbladed! Maybe she’s done that!?

MyFavouritePlace · 11/06/2019 20:43

I use Wow root cover up - it's like an eye shadow and works really well for me. I have dark brown hair but I use the light brown as it's quite dark!

DeRigueurMortis · 11/06/2019 21:32

What colour is your hair OP?

The reason for asking is I have some WOW powder I can pass on that's not needed if you want but no point if it's not the right colour.

Scion123 · 11/06/2019 21:39

That’s really kind, thank you. My hair is light brown.

I use the John Frieda root spray to cover my greys, but it does also thicken my post baby hair loss (“baby” is 4 years old and I am still very thin on sides of forehead. As soon as I saw the pic I recognised it!
Spray on, watch your clothes as it stains, and it will stay in place until you wash your hair.

Interesting, my hair is very fine & I have to tie it back for work & the gym. Its also blonde.

WhichOutfit · 11/06/2019 22:25

Color Wow root touch up is good for hairline and partings.

DeRigueurMortis · 11/06/2019 22:46

OP it might be too light.

It's the blonde shade.

I take biotin and use Plantur caffeine shampoo. I hardly lose any hair when washing now though I'm not sure which one is doing this so I'll continue with both just in case!

Scion123 · 12/06/2019 06:24

DeRigueurMortis thank you so much for offering but yeh,too light.
