I'm looking for a new perfume but honestly don't know where to start! I love Clinique Aromatics & Burberry Weekend so I suppose they're spicy/ musky? Happy to be corrected 😁. I don't like sweet or flowery scents or anything too 'heavy'. Can anyone recommend a new perfume for me please?

I haven't smelled Burberry Weekend, but if you like Aromatics Elixir then maybe try another chypre? What about Chanel no 19 or Chanel no 19 Poudre which is softer? www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Chanel/Chanel-No-19-Poudre-12424.html

If you look up the perfumes you like on fragrantica it will show you others that smell similar and it will tell you what type of fragrance they are -e.g. Burberry Weekend is floral and powdery, Clinique Aromatics Elixir is a chypre floral.

Narciso Rodriguez does some nice floral/woody/powdery perfumes

Another lovely chypre floral is Sisley Eau du Soir but it is pricey

Wild card suggestion as I've not tried it but it sounds great

If you are within reach of Jo Malone try Juniper and Black Cedarwood.

Or Black Cedarwood and Juniper even 😊.

Liz Earle no 15? It's a fresh, spicy chypre Smile

No idea re suggestions, but just to say aromatics elixir was my mum's perfume, so I'd have to put my head on your shoulder and sniff you if you were near me, instant memories of her!
