I have fine, almost shoulder-length hair that I have cut regularly. When I'm at home, it generally looks decent and fairly well-conditioned - if it's exceptionally humid, I can always put it in a ponytail to prevent frizz.
But the moment I dare to travel anywhere, my hair essentially pitches a fit and becomes dry, frizzy and unmanageable! It doesn't matter what the climate is/hard or soft water, my hair doesn't like any changes. I always bring deep conditioner and oils with me; I use straighteners if I need to, but it never looks that great.
Does anyone else experience this and can you recommend some good products for finicky hair? I'm going to Scotland this summer but I'm sure that even temperate weather will play havoc with my hair.
