Cream eyeshadow advice

I have read that cream eyeshadow is better than powder on older skin and am looking for recommendations of good cream eyeshadows that don’t immediately crease and smudge and what colours to go for. I have greyish hair and fairly pale skin, and like taupe, pink, grey shadow.

Bobbi Brown's long-wear cream eyeshadow sticks. I'd always recommend using a primer under eyeshadow though to ensure longevity. NYX one is pretty cheap and effective.

My most used cream eyeshadow is Tom Ford's Platinum which is a coppery brown. Not cheap at £30.00 but I've had my pot forever and barely made a dent in it.

I was going to say Bobbi Brown as well!

Clarins cream shadows are lovely. And my go to (same colouring as you) is Gosh Silver Rose, which comes as a crayon from Superdrug.

Eyeshadow sticks - bobbi brown, kiko or elf. Cream eyeshadow pots - Revlon colourstay or maybelline colour tattoo

My favourite sticks are By Terry and Rosie for autograph, pots are Revlon.

I like Kiko eye shadow sticks, great dupe for By Terry. Also like Laura Mercier sticks and for pots I’ve recently discovered Trinny London and really enjoy those.

As PP mentioned, Laura Mercier has really gorgeous eye shadow sticks.

Thank you ladies, I shall look at your suggestions Smile

Stila, best by a country mile for me.

Beauty pie eyeshadow sticks are fab too. Fantastic staying power but you can blend before it sets. I'm going to buy more colours this month after being so impressed with the one I tried.
