Spray tan advice

So I had a spray tan done about an hour ago! Total newbie to spray tans...

Lovely salon with a lovely beautician, however she used the 'dark' colour. It is SO dark, much too dark for my blonde hair/naturally fair skin.

She recommended to leave it on overnight. But when would you recommend I wash it off if I don't want to stay this dark?

I don't want to wash it off right now, as I do want a slight tan.

Should I leave it 1-2 hours to develop a little? Or should I shower now now now?

You will find when you shower the guide colour will wash off and it won't look as dark as it does now. I would leave it another 2/3 hours and then wash it off the one I use takes about 4 hours to develop but gets darker if left overnight. Remember to moisturise after your shower each day to stop it going patchy as it fades 😊
