Help me out with spanx for the first time!

Hi,
I've got a gorgeous but very tight white dress for a party coming up. I'm quite slim (size 8) but wanted to get some Spanx for under it, that won't break the bank!
Any suggestions ladies, for your favourite bargains? Thanks!

I really like the nude all in ones, more than anything just cos then you don’t get VPL

M&S does good ones if you don’t want to pay for proper Spanx

As you are slim, you need a lighter support spanx. Perhaps the summer ones? Your fat is more likely to be softer so you need to be more careful about stronger support (can push soft fat into weird places).

Amazing, thanks ladies! I've never worn them before - do you get any kind of VPL where they end? I'm assuming I can't try them on/return as with normal underwear?

As a size 8 I doubt you would. VPL only really happens if you are larger and the thigh band cuts into thigh fat. You can get a variety of different materials - John Lewis lets you try them on, so suggest you go there first
