Seeking the Holy Grail Creaseless Undereye Concealer

Subject line says it all really. I’m 52 and trying to find a concealer that doesn’t settle into my creases. To be honest I don’t need much in the way of colour correction - though I’m pretty fair-skinned - but more of a makeup anchor and de-puffer iyswim. I’ve been watching YouTube tutorials by this fabulous Houston news presenter and she raves about Tarte’s creaseless concealer but apparently it’s been discontinued?

Can anyone recommend something similar that works for them?

Thanks!

Hello Fab bendy avocado concealer is decent

This Trish Mcevoy one works for me. It's pricey but lasts well and you don't need much. It has a different formula to any other I've tried www.getthegloss.com/article/to-buy-for-the-concealer-that-s-like-completely-new-skin

Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser is really good and was cheap too (can’t remember price but under a tenner).

Bought it after seeing various online reviews and I’m impressed. It definitely doesn’t settle into lines and stays put. I wasn’t keen on the sponge applicator on the end as it means you have to slap loads on like a Youtuber, so I pulled it off and use a little brush instead.

NARS creamy concealer is fantastic for this, I started using it after I noticed that my Bobbi brown one would settle into creases within 30 mins. Totally creaseless and stays on all day.

Thanks all for your replies and sorry for delay in acknowledging!

It isn’t clear to me from Amazon link but is Tarte concealer only in one shade? Am I being dense and missing something?

Intrigued especially by Trish recommendation as I have tons and tons of her makeup which I have collected over the years, mostly eye shadows (I’m sure I have enough to last me till I’m 100 😂) as the rest has all “expired” by now. When I lived in and frequently traveled to the US I was always filling my boots as it was cheap(er) and so easy to find - here it’s only at Selfridges and Harvey Nics (and maybe Liberty too now?) but it’s hard for me to get to those outlets, and I’m not as flush as I used to be. Might try it next time I’m in the West End.

In the meantime I may see if I can try the Nars one at SpaceNK.

Thanks again all!

Armani one. Better than anything else I've used and I'm 47

Good luck. Yes that specific Trish Mcevoy one is very high tech and supple. It almost feels as though it never sets (but it does).

Willowtreecottage · 12/06/2019 13:22

This one! I was surprised how good it is.
Remember, don’t use it all the way under the eye... just in the corners.. you just need a tiny bit / then blend!
Take your regular foundation up to the eye, then this!

Clarins Instant Concealer has been my favourite for the same reason.
