Sweaty Betty sale and TK Maxx are worth a look.

NotAgainKen · 06/06/2019 19:14

Sweaty Betty leggings are worth it, I think - I tried on some Gap ones this week in the hope of finding a cheaper alternative and they were bogging. If you do the SB 'find your perfect style' they send you a 15% off code which makes it... slightly more bearable? And there's always the sale which should be coming up soonish.

Yoga Leggs are my favourite, nice high waist and good if you like a pattern.

Vinorosso74 · 06/06/2019 19:17

I have a couple of pairs from M&S which stay put and have washed well.

ExplodingCarrots · 06/06/2019 19:18

I really like Tikiboo. Think they're around £30 but they're really good quality.

HundredMilesAnHour · 06/06/2019 19:56

In order of cheapest most expensive:

M&S are cheapest and wash well but often come in really dowdy colours or prints.

Tikiboo are great quality but not for shrinking violets. Reasonable priced. They often do a discount over bank holidays plus they have an Ebay store that sells older stock off at cheaper prices.

Nike's more expensive leggings are great. Good quality, wash well, last forever.

Finally Sweaty Betty. They're expensive so best to wait for a sale if you can. Decent quality though, get rave reviews.

Personally regardless of pricing, I prefer Nike and Tikiboo. Although my Tikiboos are starting to show some minor signs of wear on the knees from all the damn burpees we do in my gym.

H&M are not bad, I have a couple of pairs and I don’t find them to be much different to my sweaty Betty ones

RainbowMum11 · 06/06/2019 22:55

Tiki boo and Lucy Locket Loves are my favourites.

trader21c · 07/06/2019 06:33

Sweaty Betty contour leggings but with discount code or in sale if you can wait

NewYoiker · 07/06/2019 06:35

Tikiboo are amazing! Mr men leggings!

f83mx · 07/06/2019 09:17

Thanks all - think tikiboo might be a tad too bright for me - the less attention drawn to my novice gym sessions the better! Think will wait for SB sale and check out some nikes in store in meantime

I bought some great ones recently from Amazon called Queenie Ke. Really thick, hold you in, high waist, dont' fall down. About 1/3 of the price of Lululemon. Heard of them on here

Sadly I've just googled and they don't have many colours left - but see what else they have in their range. Highly recommend

Under Armour are amazing and wash beautifully.

I train 6 times a week and basically rotate 4 pairs of UA leggings without an issue. Squat proof, slip proof and super comfy. I am short (5'1) so wear the capri length which comes to my ankles perfectly without any rolling at the end like normal leggings. They also have 3/4 length and full length.

Check the UA outlet online or I got loads of nice pairs off Amazon as well.

redbedheadd · 07/06/2019 11:15

I love fabletics ones... you can get two for 24 quid. This signs you up to a monthly pair of £44 but you can just easily call and cancel or you can skip a month if you buy regularly. Bit of a faff but worth it if you buy leggings frequently.

NuffingChora · 07/06/2019 11:17

Have a look for a Nike outlet nearby, always have a decent range of stock and sizes and saves a bit.

anyoldvic · 07/06/2019 11:18

I have some great sports leggings from Bam in a cotton-bamboo-stretch mix that are thick, flattering, non sweaty and stay in place, I love them.

They come in various fits and lengths, in plains and prints.
