Many thanks to Whistles sizing responders; another Q I'm afraid ...

The skirt fitted beautifully, though on paper it should have been a size too small.

Does anyone have experience of their leather jackets? I am a 16 on top and wondering if I can get away with a 14. Leather is often cut small though (because an expensive material, I suppose ...)

I love whistles but probably wouldn’t buy a leather jacket there tbh, I’d go to all saints for that.
I did try on one of their (whistles) leather jackets a couple of years ago and and it was in line with their other sizes but just not as nice and soft as all saints. Leather should be snug as it will give a little and I assume you want it to be a neat fit when you buy it.
Hope that helps x

You’d be fine with a size down. You’re supposed to go one size down in leather jackets anyway because they stretch a lot.

As an aside, I don’t generally like All Saints jackets as although they’re great quality they’re very heavy and the leather isn’t supple and soft enough for me, plus I find them a little heavy on the hardware for my liking. However that’s all down to personal opinion.

No harm in trying the jacket - you can always return if it’s not quite right.

I have a Whistles leather biker jacket, and I think the fit is neat. I am usually a 10, and my jacket is a 12. The 10 would have been fine with a t-shirt underneath, but not a jumper, and really tight if done up.

Thanks all. I think I'll risk it; really like the style of jacket.
