I’ve had Specsavers lensmail for eons but it seems quite expensive (£22 a month). Can anyone recommend anything equivalent quality but cheaper? I have daily disposables.

Vision Direct. You probably get a free eye test with your Specsavers direct debit though, so you'll have to factor the cost of that in too.

I use Daysoft. I only use them for a coup,e of hours a day. The spec savers optician told dd horror stories of your eyes not getting enough oxygen with cheap lenses and scared her back to specsavers. Not sure how true it is.

Switch to monthlies, they’re so much cheaper than dailies if you’re wearing them everyday

Although having said that, I think £22 per month if you’re wearing them every day is already pretty cheap for dailies

I think £22 a month is really cheap. I was buying more than that for dailies over a decade ago! (and that was from the 'discounted' opticians!)

I pay £24 a month and that includes my contact lense check everything 2 years. So pretty normal I think. I've brought cheap ones online before and could definitely tell the difference.

Jumping on here. I also pay £22 for some fancy pants monthlies. An eye doc has hair recommend ortho k lenses, which apparently are worn only overnight and they correct your vision for the duration of day. I would be interested to hear if anyone has these? (Sorry for crashing op)

I pay £37 a month for dailies, but mine are fancy silicon hydrogel ones, and I get a lens check every six months. I could get them slightly cheaper online. My eyes were dry with cheaper brands, and while I am happy to skimp on tinned tomatoes or washing powder, I am absolutely not willing to take chances on my sight, and think the extra is worth it for the quality of care.

That sounds pretty good for dailies and for any aftercare. I pay £27 for monthlies (have astigmatism). If you get on well with these lenses I would be tempted to stay on the direct debit scheme with Specsavers, I'm not sure you will get much cheaper.

I pay £15/month for Specsavers monthly disposables. This includes lens checks every 6 months, eye testa and one free pair of glasses every 2 years. It used to include lens cleaning solutions but doesn't any more.
The advice is to remove and clean them once a week and to leave them out for one overnight per week.
I am very happy with them.

£22 a month sounds like a good price for dailies. I get mine from Vision Express and pay about £40 a month for daily multifocal lenses. But that price includes my annual eye test and aftercare, spare replacement lenses and I get to try new lenses as they come on the market. I also now get 50% off a pair of glasses, prescription sunglasses or non-prescription sunglasses once a year, it used to be £59 towards a pair of glasses but they've just changed it to 50% off a complete pair.

I pay £18pmth for monthlies with Specsavers includes; solution, 3 new cases, yearly eye test, yearly lens check, free glasses every 2yrs, and 1 extra replacement set of lens within every 12mth period (I always ask for these to take on holiday).

I pay £8.50 for monthlies Silicone Hydrogel from Boots Reward lens scheme. Includes eye test and contact lens check. No solution however I have found I can purchase it for £3.50 in Tesco with case included!!
Oh and I get 10% off boots own brand products to.
I think I have an absolute bargain with some if your prices quoted.

Oh and 50% off glasses to including thinning of lenses which is important when you have as bad eyes as myself
