Please help me to find a lemony summer scent

I’ve just sprayed my l’’occitaine vervienne thinking it would be a fresh scent for summer and I’ve it appears to have gone off, and rather than the lemony gorgeousness I was expecting it’s weirdly turned into a curry like smell - which is not what I was aiming for.
Wise people of S&B Please help me find a lovely lemony perfume for a reasonable price, so I can waft around smelling citrusy this summer.

I also love Trussardi Donna - it's very lemony, but more like lemon marmalade. My husband adores it, and it lasts a long time, too.

Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermes is fresh and lemony. I am currently at an airport and have just tested it with a view to buying it.

MissBattleaxe - thank you! You’re very dedicated to the cause ! I remember my grandma had those little lemon soaps too, and I loved them. I love a lemon scent in summer as it’s so fresh & sharp

Have you tried the Perfume Parlour for faux Malone scents? They have one inspired by JM French lime blossom which is absolutely lovely, and you can buy tiny little bottles to test it before deciding whether to go for a bigger bottle.

If you like Un Jardin Sur le Nil, let me offer Waterlily Sun by Aerin Lauder. It's the perfume UJSLN was aiming for if you ask me. Also lasts much longer.

Alvarez Gomez Agua de Colonia is along the same lines as 4711 but even nicer in my opinion.

Seconding Perfume Parlour. They do a copy of the original Acqua Di Gio which I buy by the bucketload.

It's also a great way to try out more niche scents for only a few quid - they do some Frederic Malle, Boadicea the Victorious, Killian... as well as Tom Ford dupes.

Definitely Eau d'Hadrien.
Eau du Sud if you want a hint of lime.
Mary Greenwell Lemon, though I think you can only get hold of it on eBay etc.
Boots own brand Lemon eau de cologne.
4160 Lemon Sherbert (though as with many 4160s, it's a very sweet lemon)
One of the Acqua di Palma Bergamot Di Sicilia.
Cristalle again is more lime. Yardley Jade ditto. Liz Earle 1, the same. Love these three in summer.

I got some for Christmas and it’s lovely.

Ohh I just bought Jo Loves White Rose and Lemon Leaves - I think I prefer to French Lime Blossom but I suspect also needs the body lotion for layering - so more expense 😬
