White sumer trainers suitable for walking and look nice?

I've just said a fond farewell to a pair of cheap and cheerful but incredibly comfortable white leather converse style trainers that I've walked the soles off. I need a replacement pair - can't reup on the ones I had as they were a random supermarket kids' rail discount buy last summer . I usually buy trainers for function so I've no idea what is both easy on the eye and foot. Could anyone recommend?

What kind of insoles do u get? just normal ones or orthapedic things?

I have those Nikes, they are very comfy! I also have some stan smiths and got these recently for "best" white trainer situations - its like walking on little clouds of comfort !

I like those Geox ones. My Geox have been great but are filthy and I don't really know how to go about cleaning them.

Tried the Stan Smiths with insoles today and they made a big difference. Great tip!

Oh, some of those geox are really nice. My wardrobe is heavily cream/off white , grey and navy so I'm looking for something to tie in. Anyone seen any of these in real life?

i was trainer shopping thursday but failed to get anything

I bought Nike Airforce 1's last weekend, they are soooooo comfy but not as "dainty" as the more plimsoll types but I have mega wide feet so very restricted. I got carried away and bought white ones with a yellow some and Swoosh as I just loved them but plain white might have been better.

Fleur i cant decide on plain white or not!

@MotherForkinShirtBalls please let me know why you think of the scalloped grey converse you have ordered - I’m eyeing them too. I have black & white trainers - surely a third pair in grey is essential?!?

Just tried them on, Mrs. They are lovely, really soft leather but the scalloped edge looks weird on me.

Hmmmm it was definitely the scalloped edge which drew me to them. I’ve ordered them in khaki suede (& have a thread about them) so I’m hoping they suit me!

The edge is lovely, Mrs, they just look a bit odd on me. Actually, I'll try them again tomorrow... I'm at the tail end of a migraine so decision making is never good in this state.

I snet back the scalloped edge converse (reluctantly, they are very pretty and soft leather, just not for my awkward feet) and bought geox Warley instead. They are mainly silver but really comfy and go with everything I need them to!

I have the Superga cotu in navy patent which are extremely comfortable - I have wide feet so they suit me better than converse which seem to be slightly narrow.

My new trainers are Stan Smith bold in cream suede. They have a slight platform sole so don't feel as flat.

I meant to add you can get both of the above styles in White...!

Thos geox warley are a good compromise, so so comfy too i expect if mine are anything to go by (I admit i keep mine for "best" as i love them so much)!!
Some great sandals too on their site that i love the look of..
