Wedding dress storage and styling

I will be purchasing a beautiful second hand ivory wedding dress soon.

My wedding isn’t until summer 2020 and I understand dresses can yellow over time. If the dress is kept in a dress bag and stored in a dark wardrobe will it be ok for 14 months or so?

Also, given the style shown in the picture, would you wear a cathedral veil with it, or any veil, given the additional, detachable train the dress already has? I have no clue about wedding dresses so any help is appreciated.

I think if you get the dress dry cleaned and kept in a storage box (from the dry cleaners) it will be fine for that amount of time.

Re the veil.
Are you getting married in a church? If so might the dress be a bit sexy? I would whack a veil on to make the dress a bit more modest ... or am I an old out-of-touch grimmer?

I would buy a box to store it in, either from a dry cleaners or Wed2b.

I wouldn’t add a veil, that dress is perfect as it is, and I think a veil will be too much.

No idea about wedding dresses but your dress is stunning!

Great, I’ll get a box to store it in. :) Yes, the plan is a church, but the front has a high sheer neck and there’s not really cleavage so I think it’s not too sexy.
Thanks - I love it so much!
