Adapalene and Lymecycline + sun exposure

So, I’ve revebtly starting using lymecycline and Adapalene for my adult acne. I’m due to go abroad in 2 weeks; how worried should I be about sitting in the sun? Will I be ok if I slather the sun tan lotion on? I don’t really want to spend all of my time under an umbrella!

Any experience out there?

Be really careful! My dd was using lymecycline last year when she did her d of e expedition and we couldn’t work out why she got sunburnt when no one else did. It can make some people super sensitive to the sun. She had to use a hat and total sunblock for the next hike. We went back to the gp and she advised that she stopped taking it for our holiday to Greece. She is pale skinned though.

Thanks for the advice. Perhaps I should stop taking it before the holiday? Crikey- spots or sunburn! 🙈
