What product do I need to make my haystack hair look better?

My hair is fairly thick with a slight wave. I have some highlights which makes it look drier and frizzier.
Straightening helps a bit to calm it down but what product can I buy that would help to defrizz it and make it look sleeker?

I have tried oil but found this makes it look greasy.

About to go to town so will go to Boots but always feel overwhelmed by the number of products.

Any suggestions please?

Try VO5 Frizz Free Cream, OP. My hair is curly and sticks out about three feet from my head but I discovered this a few months ago and it definitely works for me! I tried the oils too but always used too much or not enough. Good luck!

I had a thatched cottage in my head and went to an Aveda branch for advice . They recommended this range and it has transformed it .

Give Me Coconut and Argan Oil hair mask. I saw a video of a woman using it, before and after, and figured it was probably rubbish but took a chance. Best thing I’ve ever used on my hair - on my third tube now.

A deep conditioner or mask once or twice a week could help you. Also, a good hairbrush.

Another vote for Aveda!
I picked up the dry remedy rescue oil in m&s the other week and it's brilliant! I've quit using silicones as I was getting greasy patches amongst my straw like hair.
The Aveda stuff iss dry oil and not greasy - I can use it a few days in a row and haven't had any build up. It's great!

Joico leave in conditioner works absolute marvels. It smells amazing and has left my hair so soft, smooth & shiny, that I can get away with not styling it if I want.

Olaplex shampoo, conditioner and treatment are great.
