Where can I buy a nice tummy control swimming costume?

Strap has come apart on my fave swimming costume and I don’t know where to buy next one from. Ideally I’d like something plain in a dark colour with tummy control and maybe a little ruching to disguise my tummy which looks horrible after 2 C Sections and eating too many cakes 😳 I’m a size 16 and c cup. I don’t want anything dowdy but also don’t want anything that draws attention 😂 Any recommendations?

M&S secret support / secret slimming ones (can't remember the exact name - I've had mine for yonks) are AMAZING

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 31/05/2019 09:33

Another vote for M&S!

Had my swimsuit from for Luna for 7 years now through two babies and it's like new still. They make you feel fabulous!

Have a look at the speedo Bardot on amazon. It’s very structured inside, and holds me in like nothing else Ive ever known! Very flattering on my tum, and proper adjustable straps.

MumbleLumble · 31/05/2019 11:22

Figleave. Expensive but very flattering.

littlepooch · 31/05/2019 11:38

I got mine in m&s. Very flattering and I got lots of nice compliments on holiday last week

Ninkaninus · 31/05/2019 11:42

I bought two really lovely ones with plenty of tummy control at Asda. A couple of years ago, but I’m sure they’ll have some now too.

afrikat · 31/05/2019 12:47

I have nice ones from M&S and Boden

Shanna89 · 31/05/2019 17:57

For Luna. A bit pricey but so flattering and they last years! www.forluna.co.uk

Stylishmama · 31/05/2019 18:07

Boden swimsuits are excellent

MotherofPearl · 31/05/2019 18:31

Another vote for Boden. Very structured and flattering imo.

Shanna89 · 31/05/2019 19:28

Ya I know the For Luna ones are two vintage for some people and I also love Boden for quality and fit.

OKBobble · 31/05/2019 19:38

I get a certain one i n John Lewis. They do it in black and brown and then every year a number of funky prints. I have a few of then and same tan lines!

Sciurus83 · 31/05/2019 20:18

I was amazed how good Tesco's premium range are, seriously have a look!

Oly4 · 31/05/2019 20:44

Another vote for M&S! Brilliant

Stylishmama · 31/05/2019 22:00

I’m wary if Tesco. Got one last year and it looked great at first but after a few wears it went all saggy and faded. I know they’re cheap but still!

StarlightLady · 01/06/2019 06:33

I would suggest John Lewis of you can get to a branch and try on. Otherwise mass mail order from Figleaves.

Careful though, tummy control is one thing but some come up like scaffolding.
