Annual search for closed toe sandals

YetAnotherThing · 29/05/2019 20:58

Am after sandals that cover my toes, and ideally heels too. A generous peep toe is just about acceptable. Any colour is fine. Work in a job where ‘feet-out’ not really appropriate and my feet are not a thing of major beauty....

Please post if you’ve spotted something that might do......

Fitflop Cova www.thekannycrafter.co.uk/shop/womens-sandals-fitflop-cova-suede-closed-toe-sandals-black/

I think Amazon have the suede version too

Lotta From Stockholm have closed toe sandals. They have low and higher heels. The seconds are as good as the perfect ones.

I saw a single closed-toe style in Clarks at the weekend! I have this annual search too, and this year I got them online, as the only ones I could find in the shops that weren't open-toed were of the Hotter/Joseph Siebel variety with lots of extraneous embroidery and punched patterns and whatnot. Do a search on Amazon, there's a lot more choice on there.

I'm considering the Cova or the usual espadrille style.
Menorcan sandals are basically closed toe as it's only a tiny tiny bit of big toe that is visible. Solillas/Avarcas/Palmaira etc. Best brand Pons or Ria but harder to get hold of.

I was also going to say Palmaira or some of the styles from El Naturalista or Fly London. All of them are open at the heel though...

I have the Next version of Sollilas. Only £25 and I love them, I have them in tan.

Watching - not yet found a single nice and/or comfortable pair of closed toes this year Sad

M&S have a few styles but all very wide fitting.
