TOMs sizing please

Morning all Toms owners - am looking to buy my first pair of the canvas style and possibly a pair for DD this summer .
I have been told they come up small so would appreciate some advice
On size from current wearers - I am a UK 5 with normal width feet ( very average !) do I stick with US 7
Or size up please ?

My daughter has them in a UK 7 and my 7.5 feet fit comfortably in them. She has worn them quite a bit though so maybe stretched them. I wouldn't size up.

Thanks Maybe - I think I will stick to usual size then . It said nothing on website about sizing up either.

I wouldn't size up either - my usual size is 'slopping off' the back of my feet in their second year, so definitely stretched.

The espadrilles seemed wider than the classics last time I tried some on

I am a 5.5 in Clarks and a 5.5 in Toms is just right
