Apologies if you’ve seen me keep posting about recommended skincare lately, I’m trying to find a new skincare range for my skin, that’s not going to break the bank or ruin my skin!
I’ve been told about Sukin or PIXI has anyone used these? What do you think?

I've used Sukin before. Its a great low cost brand and has some lovely ranges for different skin types!
Have you ever heard of Tropic's? I started using this brand 5 months ago and it has done wonders for my skin - Its not too expensive either.

Tinks15 · 28/05/2019 16:36

Thanks murree. No I have never heard of ‘Tropics’ I shall have a google. Where do you buy from?

If you want reasonably priced gentle skincare I'd recommend Avene or La Roche Posay. Boots often has offers on and there's 25% off everything at escentual.com at the moment.

Have a look at Superdrug's Naturally Radiant range. It gets excellent reviews from Sali Hughes in The Guardian. I started using a couple of products from the range after reading the reviews and I'm really happy (and I usually have very expensive tastes!!). Quite often there are 50% off online offers too so it's really good value.

Thanks housewife2010 I’ve used La Roche Posay in the past I didn’t like it much will have a look at Avene though

Tinks15 buy direct from their website. Its quite an up and coming brand and they make everything fresh to order www.tropicskincare.com

Tropic Skincare is 50% owned by Alan Sugar - Susan Mau was a winner on The Apprentice a few seasons ago.

I'm not sure if that's good or bad! Hmm

BelindasGleeTeam · 28/05/2019 17:21

Tropic is an MLM like forever aloe etc.

I've just got 40% off at facetheory and am trying their serum and cleanser for my acne scarring.

Might be worth looking at their ranges, they're seemingly well rated. Use FB40 for the discount.

Will report back!

murree · 28/05/2019 17:32

Wow did not know that Tropics was half owned by Alan Sugar!
Still I like the products and that is what matters - and no I am not an Ambassador as they call it!

murree · 28/05/2019 17:36

BelindasGleeTeam I'd be interested to know how you get on with Face Theory - I have seen good reviews of the brand and like you suffer from acne scarring Smile

BelindasGleeTeam · 28/05/2019 17:41

I ummed and ahhed about the cleanser too but tbh changing too much wi just make my skin have a hissy fit.

I love the Glossier milky jelly cleanser be anyway, and it seems to suit my skin.

I bought the regenecalm and the porebright serums.

Will report back!

I love Sukin and as mentioned above it's cruelty free.

FloofyDoof · 28/05/2019 18:37

The sukin super greens mask is a really lovely clay mask. I didn't love the supergreens moisturiser, only because I found it too strongly scented, but DD really loves it. The rosehip oil is great, as is the face wash.
