Can I wear this to a wedding in Sept?
Day and evening. It's sparkly. Fine for the evening, but for the day as well?
And what would I wear over my shoulders to keep the chill off?

Oh and I won't wear those shoes, I can't bloody walk in them!

Thank you

been ages since I went to a wedding, can't wait!

yes you could OP, it looks lovely! maybe a coat like this for during the day?

If it's sparkly I think it's more a night time winter dress. Not a September wedding guest dress. It's very nice though

sleepismysuperpower1 · 28/05/2019 14:34

although maybe something like this or this would be better for the day and then you could change into that for night?

JMAngel1 · 28/05/2019 15:41

you look gorgeous in it and you can absolutely wear sparkle during the day - maybe wear whatever colour the sparkle is - gold or silver? as shoes/bag could even mix metal colours for a funkier look.

Thank you. Mixed responses.

I don't look great in shift dresses as they tend to not have much shape, but those Matalan ones don't look so straight up and down so might be worth looking at.

I have a really lovely dress, but it's too big for me at the moment.

I'll see if I can find a pic of me in it a few years ago.

Lovely dress and lovely figure, I personally would wear it to a September wedding, it seems anything goes these days which makes life much easier. September is often warm so you may not need a coat, how about a sparkly pashmina that matches the dress. The heels look fab even if your not going to wear them.
