Fake tan urgent help needed!!

Help! I used a fake tan this morning (I'm not good at these!!) And lots of patches I've missed. I was supposed to wash it off at 3pm. Should I apply more to even it out now and wash it all off later? Or shall I apply more after I wash it off?!

And any tips in case I wake up tomorrow and hate it?! How would I get it to fade?! Thanks all!!

How long ago did you put it on? If only recently then go over it again. I would wash it off a bit earlier than 3 so it won’t be so dark. If a complete disaster then you need a body scrub and go at it with a flannel!!

Thanks!! Just topped it up, will report back later!

I know it's not much help now, but in the future I would only use a tan that is visibly brown going on, like Academie Bronze Express. I can't get the invisible lotion ones right. Bronze Express goes on visibly and then darkens lightly over the next 15 mins. It also wears away like a real tan and is buildable. Can you tell I love it? Grin

Washed off, looks alright, lighter than expected but streak free. Seemed a lot of hassle for the result!!

@drink hah yes this was one with a colour, I'm just a bit of a novice at applying fake tan!

Did you use a good mit? Its almost impossible to go wrong if you do!

Sometimes it looks streaky until all off, at least now you know it doesn’t streak so you can do it again and leave on for longer? I know my teenagers leave theirs on over night (sheets look a right state but it all comes out in the wash!!).
