Hi has anyone tried this makeup? I'm a total sucker for wee small pots or sets that can pop easily in a handbag. It's quite pricy though...but I am tempted. I don't like to spend more than 5 minutes doing my makeup. Interested to hear if anyone has tried. Thanks!

I wanted to like them but didn’t!

Colours ok but nothing special.

Longevity, ok.

Value for money - not really.

Overall 5/10.

Ah you see I’m a fan. I especially like the eye shadows, flush blush and lip2eye. They are expensive but they do last ages

Darn...one each...bumping for a third decider 😜

I like the makeup. I've had a few compliments when wearing it and I find that I need less makeup as well.

I'm lucky there's a counter near me so I can see the products before I buy.

I don't think I would buy much more though as it's quite expensive and there is enough in the pots to last quite a while

RhubarbIsEvil · 28/05/2019 15:23

Won’t bacteria get in if you’re constantly putting your fingers inside the pots?

Sarcelle · 28/05/2019 15:24

I bought quite a lot of the lip products but I have recently got rid of them. Over priced, nothing special. Like the concept but the execution is a bit meh!

Processedpea · 28/05/2019 15:26

Miss selfridge used to do those pots in the 80/90s, were not £90 Grin

I would invest in much nicer products for that price.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 28/05/2019 15:27

Not sure about them.

Quite frankly pencils are so nigh easier to use and carry and do many companies do cream eyeshadow and lipstick and so on in pencil form, so it’s not like the post are any more carry-able.
Also, I hate sticking my fingers in them.
And it’s not like the pots are reusable or anything.
Sorry, I really can’t see why a stack of pots is any easier than a couple of pencils and a tube, and many Tinted Moisturisers come in slim tubes.

And they are expensive.

So a no from me.,

idoliketobebesidethesea · 28/05/2019 15:41

Excellent point about the pencils...Chanel have a lovely eye colour pencil I have my eye on. Thanks everyone!

Which one?

I had a look at them yesterday, there a dark plum one I've been drooling over.

SlipperOrchid · 28/05/2019 16:16

I spent £100 on TL products and was bitterly disappointed. The lip colour dries my lips so much so it is unusable. The concealer isn't as good as Bobbi Brown's one. The match2me is not particularly accurate.

Its all a tad gimmicky and the products are not particularly good. There are FAR superior products on the market. I really don't understand how they came up with their pricing. I'd suggest spending your money elsewhere.
