Coconut oil brought my scalp up in lumps Sad .

Shea Moisture is good , I wait till they have a special offer on .

YesQueen · 27/05/2019 17:39

Fructis hair food is great

Soola · 27/05/2019 17:42

I’ve recently bought Garnier ultimate blends hair food banana & Shea.

It smells divine and was £3.49 for a huge tub! I slap it on my hair every day and just leave it in. The smell is lovely.

I wouldn’t usually buy Garniwe but I love the smell of banana’s and it caught my eye. I’m glad I bought it as it’s fantastic

Never!

Didn't even know it was a thing. Grin

Duster12 · 27/05/2019 17:45

At least on hour or two. I second coconut oil, get one that's raw organic and extra virgin. I like Coconut Merchant myself..

BethMaddison · 27/05/2019 17:45

Every other day. I use John Frieda deep conditioner in a purple pot

Duster12 · 27/05/2019 17:46

I also use the one Soola mentions, but as a regular conditioner. It's good.

Aimily · 27/05/2019 17:50

Another for coconut oil here, however I do 2 part coconut oil with 1 part honey mix, I usually leave it for an hour ish once a week. I have rather short thin hair that used to be bleached every 6-8 weeks to maintain the white tone as I was using a lot of pastel colours so my hair was quite dry and my hair dresser suggested the coconut oil and honey combo. I now have about 4 inches of natural root growth and I have to say my hair is so soft!

Richlyfruited · 27/05/2019 18:20

I use Philip Kingsley Elasticiser on my hair when I can afford it! It's amazing and once a week is enough to keep it in great condition.

SinkGirl · 27/05/2019 18:32

Give Me coconut and argan oil hair mask is amazing - twice a week for 10 minutes but if I leave it on a few hours it’s even better.

MrsMonster · 27/05/2019 18:35

Everytime I shower which is EOD, I have long hair and I use a mask from the neck down, clip it up, do my thing (shave, wash etc) then rinse.

swissmilk · 27/05/2019 20:07

Never, but I've recently had my hair coloured for the first time and I've got a hair mask ordered as my once good condition hair feels like straw

MissMary0fSweden · 27/05/2019 20:14

I mix a tbsp Jamaican castor oil with any cheapo supermarket conditioner, and apply it to dry hair. Comb it through, wrap in a shower cap and towel combo, and leave it for half an hour or so whilst I soak in the bath.

Then I shampoo it out and rinse really well under the shower. Do this once a week or so and my hair looks fab. It's basically the Elasticizer, without the hefty price tag.

sulee · 27/05/2019 20:57

Thanks MissMary, am going to give this a try!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/05/2019 21:42

Elasticizer once a fortnight.

MerryDeath · 27/05/2019 21:54

in theory every other of two washes per week. in reality maybe twice a month. I'm a curly girl so should take this more seriously but since setting fire to my hot head in the microwave i've lost enthusiasm Sad

MerryDeath · 27/05/2019 21:54

i use briogeo and it's beautiful stuff

LizzieSiddal · 27/05/2019 21:59

Elasticizer about twice a week. Absolutely love it and it’s made my hair all bouncy and shiny, which it has never been before.

@Annunaki please don’t put a plastic bag on your head, then go to sleep!

CherryPavlova · 27/05/2019 22:03

Deep conditioning never but I condition every time I wash my hair. My hair remains pretty good all things considered.

jollyohh · 27/05/2019 22:05

Once or twice a month. Redken. Fab stuff

hollieberrie · 27/05/2019 22:26

Never! I dont even use normal conditioner.

I read once that Parisian women dont use it, thats how they get that scruffy chic hair look (not all of them im sure!) and i've never used it since. Dont miss it, i do prefer the slightly wild look.

Sorry, not very helpful at all..

SarahBeeney · 27/05/2019 22:30

Never! I'm lucky though,I have bleach highlights and it's in good condition.
My hair is greasy so I need highlights to dry it out a bit!

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 27/05/2019 22:33

Three times week
1x elasticizer
2x Moroccanoil repair masque

SmellsLikeAdultSpirit · 27/05/2019 22:33

Coconut oil made my hair like straw.
I use the garnier mask as a conditioner a couple of times a week and as a mask every couple of weeks. I put a carrier bag then a buff over and wander around the house for about 45 minutes
