I’ve my eye on a few &Other Stories dresses and am wondering what’s the sizing like. I’m a UK14- should I get a 40 or a 42??

Hi I'm a UK 8 and their size 36 fits me perfectly. I haven't ordered much from them, just a couple of summer dresses. I'd lean towards the 42. They also offer Klarna, so you could order both sizes and not have to worry about up a load of cash upfront!

Thanks for your help.

It depends a lot on which "studio" the design is from. The Stockholm one is more generous than the Paris one I think.

But in general I'd say a Swedish 42 is a 14 UK these days.

I find them quite inconsistent with sizing. Pot luck. I'd order 2 sizes and see. I think iirc returns are free.

I buy a lot from there and depending on the style, they tend to make clothes as cheaply as possible and this means using as little fabric as possible esp with dresses. You will rarely find pockets, they are rarely lined, any belts are badly made and are often king enough to just about go around your waist. There are exceptions but in general the quality is very poor and they are fast fashion. That said I buy an awful lot from them although I return three quarters of it.
