It's time I finally learned how to take care of my hair. What do I do about this? Is it a bad haircut? Is there a product I should be using? Any advice welcome.

Is it long and tied back?

RubaiyatOfAnyone · 26/05/2019 20:38

I can only see one pic with your hair scraped back. Are there others where we can see your hair that just aren’t showing up for me?

flimflamthankyoumam · 26/05/2019 20:51

Oooh I'm very interested in this op thanks for posting!! My hair is just the same!

BentBaastard · 26/05/2019 20:52

Hair oil after you have dried it would sort it out.

thirdlittlepig · 26/05/2019 21:04

Sorry yes it's long and tied back - just wondering how to deal with horrible frizz/flyaways round my face when I tie it up

Hair oil

Rub the oil into your hands and smooth through your hair.

Voila! It disappeared.

thirdlittlepig · 26/05/2019 21:05

@BentBaastard thanks for this - what sort of hair oil? And how to apply? Sorry to ask so many questions - I'm totally clueless here

This

Apply when wet and after styling.

Style with a hairdryer and brush. Use straighteners if you have them. Apply more oil.

What shampoo and conditioner are you using?

LynetteScavo · 26/05/2019 21:13

I have no idea why the link isn't working Confused

wiltingflower · 26/05/2019 21:24

My hair is the same around my ears 😔
I'd love to find a solution!

I've tried argan oil and that didn't really help, it just turned the mass fluffiness into separate bits of loose hair

MrDarcysMa · 26/05/2019 21:31

actually oil on hair around the roots just makes it look greasy. I get the same and it looks ok it I brush it back into a pony again a couple of times a day. spray a tangle teaser with some hair spray to brush it back too.
The main thing i would suggest is trying a center parting pony, you should get less strays.
