My hair is around 90% grey/white and I've been having an all over golden blonde colour since Christmas and before that I had highlights. I don't mind the all over colour but it makes my head itch for ages afterwards and it drives me mad. My upper body also itches but that could be psychological! The hairdresser can't understand it as the patch test was fine, and I have no reaction at all when the dye is on, not even a tingle. The dye doesn't contain PPD.
I'm not prepared to go natural yet so I'm considering going back to highlights which I know won't cover all the grey but I'm hoping it'll stop the itching unless anyone has any other ideas. Do you think it will look ok with a mix of blonde, dark blonde and the grey showing through?
