Home Eyebrow Tint kit

I never get the chance to get my brows tinted, they are oddly pale compared to my dark hair so I have the look of a potato when I don't. For a novice are the home tint kits fool proof or disaster waiting to happen for me? Any recommendations for easy use/good results kits? Thanks!

I use Eylure dye brow in dark brown and find it pretty foolproof! The first time I did it I used Vaseline on the skin around it but since then I’ve not bothered and there is no need. Just wipe off any that gets on the skin. I leave it on for about 10 minutes and that gives a nice dark brown.
