jackets and sweaty underarms :/

I have a lovely jacket that can be worn often but the only thing putting me off is getting it smelly in the underarm area especially if I am wearing it with a sleeveless top. Any tips or jacket products I can attach (?!) to help with keeping my jacket smell free?

Top tip - wash or dry clean it frequently enough that it doesn't smell?

yes could do it’s dry clean only though and I never find dry cleaning able to get ride of underarm smell completely.
I checked online and saw some adhesve pads “sweat pads” to attach to garments, anyone tried these?

I have, they are excellent! I sweat like crazy and use them with shirts and jackets. I love them and they save me dry cleaning money.

Either don’t wear something sleeveless or use protectors. Ifits very warm, take your jacket off.

Dry cleaning does not remove sweat smells. Another trick is to spray vodka on the underarm area - it works.

Dry cleaning doesn’t remove water soluble stains ie sweat. Another vote for protectors. I used to recommend them all the time when I worked in a dry-cleaners.

Amazon has all the sweat pads you could ever need.
I have just posted on another thread about using Odaban spray - Driclor was too itchy and inflammatory for my pits so I apply this with a cotton wool pad 3 times a week and have no itch or irritation. You need to do it before you go to bed on freshly washed pits.

White vinegar sprayed onto the area prior to cleaning with neutralise the smell of sweat

Max strength stick deodorant is brilliant the one around £5 in a box

Sweat guards/underarm dress protectors are good (from Amazon).
I know someone who had underarm Botox for excessive sweating, and it’s changed her life - it’s quite a common procedure now.

@Backtobacktoback I don't pay attention to brands for the sweat pads (unlike other products), all the ones I've had so far did the job but I cannot remember the names...

Mitchum roll on is the only one I have ever found to be effective against sweat! It just isn't practical to dry clean a jacket that often. I would have to wear sleeves or make sure I took it off the instant it warmed up!

I'm another one who uses the Dove deodorant- I used to have a real issue with sweating, but not anymore.

I did debate Botox, but I'd heard that if you had Botox for sweating, other areas can sweat to compensate so you might get a sweaty back for example

Honestly the Dove stuff is fantastic. Sure also do something similar
