Ted Baker sizing / coats

I’m ordering a Ted Baker coat and not sure whether I’m a size 1 or 2.

I’m usually a size 8 but since being pregnant I still don’t feel quite back to my old size. I’m really not far off but stomach doesn’t feel like it’s completely shrunk and I’ve gone from a 32DD to a 32FF. I’m 5’4 and weigh about 9st. In theory I will shrink a bit but you never know

I realise no one can definitively tell me what size I am but I suppose if asking how generous Ted Baker sizes are? And also whether a coat is likely to look better half a size too big than half a size too small...

I have suits and other clothes from them and usually get a 1 but if there’s not a massive difference between a 1 and a 2 then I think I’d be 2.

I could just order both and then decide but they’re about £250 each 😬

(They don’t seem to have it in store or I’d just go in and try them in)

Which coat? I find the wrap style coats quite roomy. I’m an 8 and order the 0(6). I find the 8 looks too big but I’ve got narrow shoulders

I’d ordinarily order the 1 without hesitating but feeling a bit thicker at the waist and with massive boobs I’m not so sure
