If you wear a dress/suit like the attached to work often please can you explain what kind of knickers you wear that don't show please. I have been wearing microfibre shorts for years and I am done with those and tights and sweating in December. I really want cotton/natural fibres that don't show. Are these pants unicorns???

Knickers please???

Depends on your bum shape but M&S do a no VPL range you can get a multi pack from about a tenner. I prefer the midi ones as I'm less likely to get a wedgie and muffin top lines as they are fairly high waisted. basically the bigger my pants the less VPL I get! They do microfibre and cotton blend. I think the MF ones look smoother under other fabrics though.

Have you tried Sloggi shorts?

ilovesocks · 26/05/2019 22:24

I wear thongs, nothing else works for me.

hugoagogo · 26/05/2019 22:47

Maybe you need a slip?

StarlightLady · 27/05/2019 07:27

I’m a little surprised about sweating in December. I need all the warmth l can get then.

Aside from that, try viscose high waist thongs (viscose is a natural fiber, it’s made from bamboo) but check if the waist band shows. M&S no VPL knickers often have have very visible waist bands.

I often don’t wear anything under dresses of that length in the warmer weather. I don’t flash my knickers at work when I’m wearing knix, so l’m not going to flash anything else when I’m not wearing any either.

I wear the H&M highwaisied lightly shaping knickers, they are not natural fiber but the gusset (bah) is cotton. They are very comfortable and no lines anywhere. They are proper knickers too, no way is a thong going anywhere near my poor middle aged bum ever again Grin

Katiepoes · 27/05/2019 09:34

HighwaisTed of course

StarlightLady · 27/05/2019 09:53

Just to add, for me natural fibres often mean no stretch and a baggy bum. In the fabric I mean.

@MrDarcysMa I've had loads of m and s no vpl they lie!!!

Can you link to the h and m ones?

It's v sweaty in court trust me. The judges determine the room temperature so you freeze in one and cook in the other!

I've bought some amazing suits but this knocker thing is spoiling my fun!

M&S lace Brazilians are good. The lace is polyester but there’s not enough of it to make anyone sweat and the gusset is cotton.

These are the H&M ones -

I second Brazilians from M&S, they don't show and look lovely on.

nevernotstruggling · 27/05/2019 19:42

@Katiepoes omg thank you think they are the ones!
