Blonde to brown!

Big dilemma,

I've recently gone blonde and I hate it. It's balayage and has aged me.

I'm going to go brown again, but I don't want to fork out for the hairdressers, so I'm doing an old DIY.

How do I stop it from going green?!

Hi I think it’s less likely to go green if you use a reddish toned brown. I would do a strand test first to make sure.
I recently went from blond to brown with a herbatint colour, I really like it. The highlights are starting to show through at the ends but it looks intentional and accidentally nice
