Leggings- best at the moment

I know the style mavens won’t approve, but leggings are a staple in my wardrobe and several of my pairs are going in the bum. Which shops have had good quality leggings that you have bought recently? I like navy or other dark colours - not black.

Hush are good but not cheap

StarlightLady · 26/05/2019 07:24

Primark have some nice ones at the moment, they don’t go sheer at the stretchy point and come with a gusset so no central seam in a delicate spot, so knickers optional.

Well the Sainsbury’s TU velvet touch ones (£10 a pair) have been my absolute holy grail for the last couple of years but I bought a pair the other day and I am sure they have changed the fabric and they are no way near as good 😣

VioletCharlotte · 26/05/2019 07:29

Decent black leggings are like the holy grail. I'm beginning to think they no longer exist. I used to get them in Warehouse but they don't seem to sell them anymore. Next have changed their design and theirs are now awful. Have tried M&S and H&M, no good. I've heard Sainsbury's luxury leggings are ok so will try them next.

Mint velvet, last for ages and it's 20% off this weekend...

VioletCharlotte · 26/05/2019 07:30

Pigsinarow posts crossed. 🙄 So that's Sainsburys out as well.

CatsForLife · 26/05/2019 07:32

The Boden ones are good. They last a long time.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 26/05/2019 08:41

What's the sizing like at MV ( I'm going to be near a shop today so I may well be reeled in ..........Grin )

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 26/05/2019 08:45

Boden are excellent. Full length and three quarter length.

FabulouslyGlamourosFerret · 26/05/2019 08:45

Mint Velvet

I wear a size xl and am a size 20

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 26/05/2019 09:47

I wear a large and I'm a 14-16. Hope that helps!

VioletCharlotte · 26/05/2019 09:52

I've heard good things about Mint Velvet leggings. Are they ridiculously expensive?

80sapplemac · 26/05/2019 09:55

Uniqlo legging trousers are fab

Aestas · 26/05/2019 10:02

A little known brand- TLC Sport. Honestly the best leggings I've ever tried by a mile, 100% opaque and last for years. They feel a bit like shapewear, hold everything in nicely which I like. They only come in black though, and the sizes do come up small.

ginyogarepeat · 26/05/2019 10:51

Mint velvet are the best I've ever found and have saved me money in the long run as they last much longer than cheaper ones. They're not ridiculously expensive (around £20, maybe slightly under from memory). I'm a size 8-10 and small fits me perfectly.

emma6776 · 26/05/2019 17:44

I find the MV ones too thick and bulky to wear under dresses. I like Boden or Oasis.

WrongKindOfFace · 26/05/2019 21:20

Someone on here recommended the Sainsbury’s luxury ones and they are pretty good. Much better than the M&S ones which are now so thin you can read a book through them.
