What trousers in Summer

I wear leggings and jeggings mainly . I don;'t like anything tight round my abdomen (medical issues) so jeans don't work for me .

Last year I had some 'peg' trousers (not with the elastic cuff hem though) that were patterned and I wore with a plain top and a pair of straight leg olive linen mix trousers.

What is out there now , anyone seen anything nice ?

I cannot imagine myself in a jumpsuit and I only wear dresses on holiday.

At work I have a uniform so no problems there .

Next have some nice tapered linen mix trousers. I have the grey and the black, but they come in a number of other colours. Very comfortable and easy to wear, and they cost £20.

Ohh thanks they are nice . I've bought jeans from Next , I think I'll look instore (need to try on, the reviews are suggesting 'size up' )

This may sound bizarre but have you considered maternity trousers? I wore under the bump linen trousers which are still perfect now several years later with longer tops. They sit on my hips and stretch comfortably when sitting and allow me to gain or lose a few pounds. Mine were from Next but plenty of options about. I hope you find something that works for you Smile

High rise Chinos from Gap are softer than denim.

N and Willow slouchies. I adore them.

MabelMoo23 · 25/05/2019 11:42

pinkarsed just looked at the slouchies, they look fab but was is the sizing like? I'm a 12/14 so wondered what size I might need!

peoplepleaser1 · 25/05/2019 11:51

Oooh really like the slouches!

Pinkarsedfly · 25/05/2019 11:56

I’m a good 14 and wear the M/L.

They are so comfy, and look great.

UserN0me · 25/05/2019 13:54

Those slouchies look lovely! I’m drawn to the grey. What have you got? Do the patterned ones look like pjs? Or nice boho trousers in real life?

FiremanKing · 25/05/2019 14:05

I quite like the patterned slouchies

One size 10-14

I've been wearing Asda chinos - £12.50 per pair and they come in a variety of colours. They're fitted but comfortable, which stops me feeling like I'm slobbing around but without overheating!

Pinkarsedfly · 25/05/2019 14:16

I have the patterned and not the plain. Nice boho trousers, but feel like pjs.

Win win!
