Where do you buy tights from?

I've always got mine from M&S but finding them very expensive now, and not good quality. Where is the best place for decent quality tights? Can anyone recommend a good website for tights?

I have a couple of pairs from snag and rate them highly though they aren't super cheap.

Snag tights are great but about £7 a pair so not cheap.

I'm not necessarily looking for super cheap, just decent quality that will last more than a couple of wears.

I've got some fantastic navy ones that I thought were from M&S but they don't come up in my online order history and I only order online.

I've just started a mission to find more good tights that aren't too £££ too. I'm almost 6ft and size 14, so can be stuck between large being wide enough but a bit short and XL being long enough but too wide.

So far I've rejected Tesco run resist - not enough lycra, Asda ladder resist (were already snagged inside a brand new packet), I've been looking at Snag but I'd not heard of anyone who has tried them.

forgotten I think you might be me! I'm also tall and size 14. Constantly going through tights at the toe, even with short toenails!

could be worse - I went through one pair on the seam over the bum last week my bum isn't even that big!

I’ve recently bought three new pairs of 80 denier black tights from Snag and I can’t rate them highly enough. They are soft and just so comfortable. They worked out about £6.80 a pair, which I didn’t think was too bad.

Honestly buy a pair of snag tights and you won't be disappointed. I'm plus size and 5ft 8 which means tights are always too short and tight. They roll down, crotch at knees awful and uncomfortable. Follow the size chart on snag and they'll be perfect.

Wolford have sales every so often, and I usually get a couple of pairs whenever I can. They do last!

I also wear nude fishnets in a micro net so they don’t look tarty but can take a bit of wear. Have yet to ladder a pair of those.

I tried snag based on a thread like this. In fact bought 5 pairs and chucked out all my old tights.

All but one pair snagged on the first wear and the other pair lasted only a couple. I have no idea why people rate them so highly.

Primark tights are good quality and a low price. Plus loads of choice.

I either get primark or Superdrug I find very good for the price x

snag tights are BRILLIANT. I tried one pair then threw out all my tights and bought 10 pairs of snags which brought the price down to £5 a pair I think.

Wolford are the best tights/stockings in my opinion. Last forever.

Thanks for the recommendations. Think I'll give Snag a go. I've always heard very good things about Wolford but they are just so eye-wateringly expensive!

M&S. Or tesco.

Primark here have two teenage DDs and they go through loads.

I can’t help as I love M&S autograph for my 40 and 60 denier tights. I am tall with a long pelvis and they are so comfortable and looks realIy good. I would be interested to try a cheaper source of 15/7 denier tights because I ladder them so quickly they are almost single use - I am watching this thread!!

I've worn skirts and dresses all winter because I loved their tights so much! Im almost wishing away summer so I can beg back into them come autumn 🤦‍♀️

I bought John Lewis recently hoping for better quality. Absolute shite. The next packet from bloody primark are fine and really stretchy and wash well
