Foundation creasing and patchy

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! No matter what foundation I buy it will go patchy/crease by my mouth and oily after a few hours.

I cleanse my face every day, exfoliate every other day, use serum, moisturizer, primer and a sponge to apply my foundation, set it with a loose powder, but it always looks pretty rubbish after about an hour of being on.

What are the best foundations/primers/powders for creasing and oily skin? I've got an all day event soon and I don't want to have to re-do my foundation halfway through the day.

I have acne prone, combination skin.

Thanks! x

PrawnoftheShed - I usually leave it around 10-15 minutes. I'll apply my serum, leave that for 5 minutes, then apply my moisturizer and usually leave for another 5-10 minutes whilst I get changed/do my hair.

I put my primer on after moisturizer and then go straight over with my foundation. I don't know whether it's the foundation and primer, whether I should spend a bit more money on one (I don't mind doing this if it works!)

I'm just at a bit of a loss, it looks fine from far away but when I look close up in a mirror it looks awful!

I have awful skin, acne and a lot of scars, my skin gets very oily and very dry and I've found exfoliating every other day (when I remember) seems to help. I do this with a natural bamboo cloth so no harsh chemicals x
