culotte trousers for petites - how do you style them?

So I am quite petite 5'2 and someone told me I shouldn't wear cropped trousers/culotte anything as they are not flattering for short limbs

Any fellow petites in here with some styling advise - how would you wear these? Kinda left insecure and unsure after that comment someone made to me

Yes @managedmis you need something either tucked in or that ends at waist / just below.

I have navy culottes and I wear them with a white lace shortish top for dressed up occasions with heels. I bought the top in Massimo Dutti. I have them on today with a short striped jumper (lightweight) and Stan Smiths. (it's cold here in Ireland).

For styling tips for all types of outfits I agree that Pinterest is your friend. But I'm addicted to the place!!!
