Crumbling Unisa Shoes

Anyone else experienced this. My Unisa shoes, hardly worn are crumbling. Wedge sandals, went out in them yesterday and they felt odd. I only checked them on arriving at John Lewis, they were pretty dangerous. I had to buy some new shoes to get home. Told Unisa who said as I no longer have the receipt for these hardly worn shoes they couldn’t help. Beware if you wear or buy these shoes. At best expensive non durable footwear, at worst a nasty accident or fall.

Have had this recently with two pairs of Campers and a pair of MBTs -- none of them new, but only very lightly worn with immaculate uppers. Thought it might've been to do with them having been in storage. Makes the case for buying decent quality shoes look quite different.Sad

OP if they are faulty you can use an entry on your bank statement as proof of purchase - it doesn’t have to be a receipt .
