Looking ahead for Prom next year ..has anyone been there for Dd or themselves lately? Is it really as good as said? What are prices like? DD after sparkly fishtail affair in a jewel colour . Happy to make trip up from South coast but not to trek around all day and not to find anything.

It's one small road packed with shops selling exactly that - definitely worth a trip I'd say.

Thanks @Norris...I tried to convince Dd that she should try and be original Hmm didn't go down too wellGrin

I live nearby. There are lots of little shops selling fancy dresses. I've never checked the prices but I reckon they're probably cheap. Or cheaper than you'd get in a department store anyway. It's a long way to travel if you're not sure they'll have what your DD wants though.

Thanks @WhereAreWeNow DHs uncle lives that way too so hopefully we can tie it in when visiting

Its cheap and quite Turkish is influence. Very Sparkly and bling. I used to live very near and browsed the shops in my lunch hour.

Yep you definitely will be fine for that amount. It is very bling though!

Thanks @StillIRise. I can only imagine the bling ..maybe I'll plan a trip for Autumn ...I'll have time to work on the "less is more" approach Smile
