I have menopause hair, dry and frizzy when it's always been soft and shiny Sad It's just been cut for the first time in ages so feels a bit better atm but I think I need something a bit more heavy duty to keep it in decent condition. I spend zero time or effort on my appearance so have no idea where to start and limited money, help please!

Olaplex at hairdresser is the the only thing that fixes mine

I've started using sulphate free shampoo and its really healed my dry , frizzy post partum hair. It also protects your hair's natural oils so you dont need conditioner. I've used it for about 3 weeks now and several people have asked if my hair has been cut as it looks so much healthier.

Fructis hair food is good and cheap. Usually on offer at boots or supermarkets. You can use it as a conditioner, leave in or deep treatment. I like the banana one
