Lightweight Summer Jacket?

Any ideas for a lightweight summer Jacket, no hood, not denim and more casual vtha a blazer? Don't want to look frumpy or mutton dressed as lamb! I'm size 16

A shacket appears to be a thing. More grown up than a denim jacket.

Following this! I’ve got a lovely denim jacket but I need to something I can wear with jeans.
I wouldn’t even dare try pulling off the double denim look 🙈

I’ve just bought a shacket without realising!!!
White denim next one via my local charity shop - I was so pleased to find something like this as find traditional denim n leather jackets too short for me!
