Tom Ford Bronzer - worth it ?

My Guerlain bronzer has finally died ! Before I replace with same (ok but don’t love) wondered whether Tom Ford was worth its hype ?

FWIW I use bronzer just to “finish” on holiday in evening over SPF rather than using it for full make up contouring g etc .

I don’t have the TF bronzer but I have a foundation and was underwhelmed. I have a Dior bronzer that I love though.
I’m very fair and it just gives a slight glow rather than a full on bronzer.

I've not tried it but I do have the Laura Mercier one in bronze 1 (very pale) and it's a nice marble/swirl one with no shimmer. I like it but would prefer a bit of glow, so if natural Matt is what you're after it could be worth a look.

Have you tried Hoola by Benefit? It's matte, a medium muddy brown so not weirdly orange and gives a very believable bronze. I try others but I always go back to it.

If you want proper glow, get an Hourglass bronzer. Unparalleled.

I‘ve used Nars bronzer in the shade Laguna but this year got their Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer also in Laguna and it’s even better.

I also love one by Lavera but I don’t know if they still make it as I’ve had it ages.

Have a Dior one at the moment that is good but not as good as it used to be.... ad the packaging is very meh. Saw the new Estee Lauder one and it looks lovely.... it is my duty lust item of the moment.

For those who like Hoola bronzer there is an exact dupe by W7 it's only a couple of pounds if u Google w7 bronzer it comes up.

I just spent ten minutes drooling over the Chantecaille one in the red compact.

A blogger called Michelle Wang has a review on You Tube. Also they donate to elephant charities.

I usually use either Guerlain for powder, or Nara Palm Beach for a Meghan like —in my dreams— glow.

But that red compact really has me drooling.

The W7 dupe is called Honolulu and is indeed very good.
