Sandals for girls.

I want to get some summer sandals for DC.
Can anyone recommend good brands/ styles?
Lots of Dd's friend's mums raving about Saltwater sandals, but they look a bit flat and thin-soles to me.

I want leather uppers, flexible but sturdy sole, not flimsy. Suitable for a (not very fashion conscious) 11yo.
