They are ok, not something I would wear and they remind me a bit of that section you get in clarks. I think if you are young and have a fairly hipster ironic style going on they could look cool, as with birkies, teva sandals etc. What looks 'cool' is more dependent on who is wearing it and how that anything else. With that said i think these would require a tan to look particularly flattering as they're metallic silver, i wouldn't relish the idea of them glinting in the sun on holiday, and in the photo I do think they make your feet look wide when they aren't OP, so are not that flattering in that regard.
Sorry to be a stick in the mud but i'd take the Next ones back as well, because I would take anything back that wasn't comfy, especially if i specifically wanted them for holiday walking- they aren't a bargain if they aren't comfy!
