Which dress for wedding?

Halfpint2017 · 19/05/2019 12:11

Hi everyone I need a dress for a wedding next weekend I ordered these two... I thought the blue one would look good but I think it may be too tight! The polka dot dress is a bit out of my comfort zone it’s not a style I would normally go for. My husband likes them both but I feel very self conscious these days as I have gained weight etc. Just wanted to see what others think?

The dotty one is more flattering.

Bluntness100 · 19/05/2019 12:15

I'd agree rhe dotty one is better. I'm not a fan of the frill on it to be honest, but like the shape.

fancynancyclancy · 19/05/2019 12:16

the dotty one bit do you have different shoes?

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 19/05/2019 12:17

The dotty one for sure, but with different shoes

loz1986 · 19/05/2019 12:17

I think the dotted one is nice, very flattering, more wedding

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 19/05/2019 12:17

Thick wedges would be lovely with the dotty one

Bluntness100 · 19/05/2019 12:18

Yes the shoes aren't flattering they cut you off at rhe ankles.

SheSaidNoFuckThat · 19/05/2019 12:18

Agree with others, the first one but did different shoes

SheSaidNoFuckThat · 19/05/2019 12:18

With not did

StuntCroissant · 19/05/2019 12:19

Yep dotty one for sure.

small2018 · 19/05/2019 12:19

First one with higher heels!

maggycool · 19/05/2019 12:19

The dotty one looks lovely on you. 👌🏻

loz1986 · 19/05/2019 12:19

I agree a nice wedge would look great n summery!

Elllllle · 19/05/2019 12:20

Dotty one is more on trend. Also more flattering. Not with the white shoes though, I would get some metallic or tan-coloured strappy heeled sandals and maybe some bronzer or fake tan on your legs to match your lovely tanned arms - I think the colour of the dotty dress requires a tan.

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 19/05/2019 12:20

Brown or tan wedge sandals

Cinnamonhazelnut · 19/05/2019 12:20

The polka dot dress!! Definitely! (its lovely, wheres it from?)
But with different shoes

MissBPotter · 19/05/2019 12:21

I agree, the spotty one suits you and is more wedding-y. Shoes without an ankle strap would look even better with it to lengthen your legs a bit. Hope you enjoy!

Deadringer · 19/05/2019 12:24

Dotty one for sure, it's perfect for a wedding.

Halfpint2017 · 19/05/2019 12:24
