You've just reminded me that I need to do mine again!

I take the laces out, put each shoe in an old pillowcase with one lace and wash on a delicate wash at 30C. Last time I did it they came out looking as good as new.

I've washed lots of different trainers with no problems but when I washed white converse, I got rust marks on front around the metal holes for laces
I'd also add, do on low spin speed - I do mine on 600 - otherwise you can get banana soles

Wow that was quick! Thank you, I'll give it a go

Hmmm rust marks. Going to try giving them a good scrub by hand I think

Yes but don’t do what I did and put them on a hot wash 🤦🏼‍♀️ Melted the glue/rubber

Angry

Cold wash/30c but plenty of detergent

The metal holes will only rust if they've got steel in them. I've just tested mine with a magnet and they don't.
