Anyone know if they run true to size?

I don't have this style, but I've had a few Grensons; the Nanette boots and a couple of loafer styles and they all run big. For me half a size.

I called one of the London shops for size advice before buying the Nanettes and they were really helpful.

This style is also featured on Thatsnotmyage and En Brogue insta so maybe DM them?

Chasing great minds think alike! I asked Alyson (TNMA) and she said she thought they were generous.

They are really big. My brogues are a 6 and I’m a definite 7 elsewhere.

pine I've read that elsewhere. It sounds like the sizing is inconsistent because I've also read that the shoes run very narrow. I hover between 41 and 42 and I bought a 41 so fingers crossed. I've never in my life fit into a 40 in a closed shoe so I'm hoping that is also the case here.

Their size guide is very odd indeed, making a UK 8 equivalent to a EU 41 and a US 11. I would say that normally an 8 is equivalent to a 42 and a 10 - ? In any case I'm usually a 41.5 - 42, a UK 7.5 - 8 and a US 9.5 - 10 so I can't see how the sizes on the guide can correspond to each other at all.
