I have finally found my holy grail foundation!

And I need to share it with you all! I have dry skin, prone to redness with broken veins so need a foundation that gives good coverage but isn’t matte. I’ve tried so many over the years but I heard good things about this one and OMG the coverage is like nothing else I’ve ever experienced! I’ve suddenly got flawless skin, woo hoo! It’s probably not for oily skin but if you need good coverage, this stuff is great. Unfortunately you can only buy it online which I was a bit nervous about, but I took a punt and it worked out. I’m sharing it cos I’ve had so much good advice from this board for years so now it’s my turn to share something.

I just got mine today, exactly same issues as you. The one i got is MAC studio fix.

I’ve been trying to find a new foundation after giving up on ELDW for being too drying.

During my many many trials, I purchased Dermacol and did find it to be excellent coverage. The huge downside was how much it transferred. It’s too heavy to powder over and is already matte so I tried it with setting sprays but still ended up with it all over my phone, hands, clothes etc at the end of each day.

I’ve just tried it on my face for the first time tonight, so I’ll have to see how it performs over time. Some pp say it’s batter as a concealer or mixed with your normal foundation.

Agree with the coverage but good lord, after a few hours my face looks like you could fry an egg on it, maybe a few sausages. I mix a little with an oil free foundation.

It seems to only be available online. How do you choose the right shade? I've seen the models they use as a guide, but it doesn't really help.
Also, can you use just on some areas like you would a concealer?
I'm wondering whether they'd cover my dark circles - I've yet to find anything that does including all the recommended concealers.

I looked at a few Youtube videos and then just had a guess. You can also buy testers for a few quid.

Loved the coverage, looked great. Sadly broke me out to the point of ridiculous. I haven't dared to use it again. Did look nice though and glad you like it x
