I’m not great at high (or even medium) style so would appreciate some opinions

Zooming to London to meet up with friends I’ve not seen in a -very long- while. I want to look nicely put together but have a problem with one foot which means I need to be comfortable . I imagine we’ll be walking a round a lot.

Jeans or cropped jeans???
Smart trainers
Tee
Blazer

Smart backpack to carry stuff all day

Or denim skirt, docs, blazer?

What do you think?

The option with the jeans sounds good, although lots of people wear that ensemble including me!! The second option fine too but only if it's a midi denim skirt, that is, what I call a midi (which is below half, not on).

calf !! Not half

Jeans. But I’m old and uncool and denim skirts just don’t feel right to me

First option is definitely better . Don't worry about the comfy shoes- most people are in smart trainers or Birkestocks. The only think I would change is the backpack which is a pickpocketing risk on public transport. Better to have a cross body bag that you can hold in front of you in crowded spaces
