Please help with shoe choice!

Which shoe colour and type would you wear with this dress colour? It's for an event autumn time and indoors. It's knee-length A frame style, shoe would ideally have a heel and be study, so not strappy.
Would appreciate any help and links please.

I usually wear navy which is easy to pair but received this dress as a gift and haven't thought about shoes til now!

In autumn I would wear an ankle boot. What is the event? Is it a party or a networking type thing?

these are a bit out there but could work with the dress.

Oh the dress looks very different in the link to the picture so those shoes won’t work. I thought it was cord!

Thanks for the ideas! I usually have a very classical style so struggling with this choice! Orange sounds about as bold as I can go I think.
The event is my mum's 50th, semi casual, there will be dancing.

I think the New Look shoe is a good style but I'd go for silver to dress it up a bit if there's dancing.

Loving whoops' suggestions, I think a deep bright fuschia pink would also work. Luckily, wide straps and solid heels are in at the moment. That should help with the dancing!

I wish I could afford those Ted Baker ones but have gone for a less expensive splash of colour instead. Thanks for the help, I would've otherwise gone with a safe brown or black colour. I like the boldness of the orange in this shoe.
